Work Preparator - Aftermarket LV

This position reports into the Teamleader Customer Order Engineering and is led by the Value Stream leader Aftermarket LV/MV + LV to whom the Teamleader reports to. In this role you will take care of the work preparation tasks for ATO (Assembly to Order) and/or MTS (Make to Stock) orders to ensure these orders can be produced in production.

What are you going to do?
Analysis and advice
• You will analyse the customer information, check it for completeness and, if necessary, discuss and/or request additional information. You will also advise and support technical internal departments with regard to mechanical and/or electrical execution, manufacturability and feasibility, costs and availability of materials.

Work preparation
• You will put together the information package for production (assembly and inspection).
• You will take care of electrical diagrams supplemented with mechanical engineering drawings where necessary you provide them with instructions.
• You will check the availability of digital information for the production assembly (drawings, schematics and customer specifications).
• You will start purchase and assembly/manufacturing orders and advise on the orders to be executed.
• You will be able to make mechanical drawings, BOMs (bill of materials) and electrical diagrams

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Skills:

• Knowledge of installation and electrical engineering
• Knowledge of production organization and management systems
• Products knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of assembling and wiring techniques
• Applicable procedures, company rules, guidelines, (national and international) laws and regulations, norms and standards, safety, quality and environmental regulations
• The PC and software installed on it (2D and 3D CAD systems, word, spreadsheet, database and ERP software)
• Dutch and English language skills (verbal/writing) and good communication skills
