Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Credit Coordinator, you are responsible for supporting collection efforts for our wholesale accounts. This includes the emailing, and phoning customers, working with customers and cross functional teams to solve issues that are preventing timely payment. Supporting the credit team in assessment process of, granting and maintaining of credit and credit limits on accounts. You would be working with a cross functional team that includes internal representatives, warehouses, allocations, and shared services team members.

This role is based out of North Vancouver and is open to hybrid work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team:
The Arc’teryx Finance team supports all parts of the business with operational finance needs, resource deployment, planning, reporting, and strategic decision making. The Finance team ensures governance and protection of the company’s assets and advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement.
If you were the Credit Coordinator role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Helping to achieve key metrics such as days sales outstanding and average days delinquent with the objective to stive for lower KPI year over year
- Supporting in objectives for achieving an optimized mix of company sales and bad debt losses
- Managing the collection process of delinquent accounts to maintain credible receivables
- Resolving disputes with customers and other departments as they relate to receivables and risk management
- Building strong working relationships with Customers, Sales, Guest Service, and various corporate teams
- Supporting the global credit team as needed
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
- Supporting with the standard credit and risk evaluations of our customer portfolio
- Supporting building out a roadmap existing and new processes
- Providing feedback to Credit Management on overall payment trends within the customer base and making recommendations based on this
Are you our next Credit Coordinator?
- You have 1-3 years’ experience in credit management for a dynamic, vertical consumer goods company
- You can step in and take charge with minimum instruction
- You have advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for spreadsheets
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You have exceptional attention to detail
- You may have experience with SAP, Hyperion, and BI tools
- You may have experience in multi-platform, multi-currency environments
- You are proficiency in computerized accounting systems & Microsoft Office
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You can balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
