  • Collaborating with the Sourcing team to develop and maintain multi-year capacity plans for all manufacturers and maintaining healthy capacity utilization rates
  • Collaborating closely with Merchandise Planning & Allocations teams to develop a procurement strategy for all global product categories, reconciling the supply chain constraints against the buy plan
  • Partnering with Merchandise Planning & Allocations to support inventory goals and objectives without comprising service levels, including Open to Buy tracking and other relevant inventory initiatives
  • Leading efforts to evolve and refine supply planning processes, implementing changes that drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Developing and standardizing role-specific processes and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in supply planning activities
  • Implementing and managing change initiatives effectively, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes within the team
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of all factories and related processes to provide guidance and leadership to individual planners
  • Leading high performance against department KPIs, continuously evolving current metrics and developing new ones as the business requires
  • Continuously developing bench strength through development and maintenance of departmental SOPs, training documents and performance management.
  • Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain
  • Working closely with the Amer Sports Global Sourcing Vendor Sustainability team on quarterly business reviews and training/capacity building (at least annually)
  • Adhering to negotiated lead times and balanced annual capacities to expedite responsible purchasing practices as outlined in the Responsible Sourcing Policy

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Deconstructing and rethinking the supply planning processes in alignment with the vision of our vertical business
  • Diving deep into our internal and external workflows and working with several cross functional teams to inspire with shared goals for stronger partnerships
  • Working with Senior Manager, Supply Planning and the Sourcing department on other supply planning improvements and optimization initiatives as they arise
  • Working closely with Raw Materials and Merchandise Planning teams on strategies that leverage agility through our Sourcing streams
  • Working closely with external vendors to identify and develop flexible buying options that support our vertical business objectives

  • You have strong SAP and Excel skills to manage data, generate insights, and enhance supply planning efficiency
  • You have proven people management skills and the ability to lead, train and mentor individuals
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills, and an ability to relate to all levels of stakeholders
  • You are comfortable with a high growth environment and address ambiguity with positivity

  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
