Your Role and Responsibilities

• This role requires the individual to understand the supplier’s capability (goods and services) in the Front End (FE) Category
• Able to analyse supplier’s spend and execute RFP/RFQ
• Experiences in 300mm wafer fabrication in the semiconductor industry will be a bonus
• This individual will be supporting the client’s Taiwan and Singapore region

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Degree in Supply Chain Management Business or other applicable field.
• 3-5 years procurement buyer experience
• Strong negotiation skills with the suppliers
• Good presentation skills
• Able to execute supplier’s performance and evaluation meeting when needed
• Able to identify cost savings opportunities among the Tailspend suppliers. This cost savings opportunities is included but not limited to the introduction of new suppliers. Alternatively buyer may consolidate similar category spend to 1 single supplier
• Must be able to communicate (listen speak read write) English and Mandarin

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Working experience in a client facing / consultative role.

• Strong problem solving abilities: using advanced technical knowledge to perform and apply new technical procedures to the business processes recommending improvements to existing technical

• Preferably a candidate who able to start immediately
