We founded the company as a fully-remote team (pre Covid!) and are open to applicants that live within a 5 hour time zone difference of US Pacific Time.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Lifecycle Manager to join our growing marketing team. In this role you will be responsible for creating and executing a roadmap of lifecycle marketing initiatives aimed at activation engagement and retention. You will be responsible for setting up campaigns measuring results and socializing learnings. The person in this role will own programs that will have tremendous impact to the business and is a great opportunity for someone who knows what it takes to build a successful lifecycle marketing program from the ground up. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage retention and growth (winback) lifecycle marketing campaigns from end-to-end.

  • Develop a cohesive strategy for both marketing and transactional communications (across email and push notifications) to ensure a streamlined point of view for all communications going out to our members.

  • Build quarterly roadmap of campaigns and tests that align to business goals and strategy.

  • Employ multi-variant testing holdout groups etc to confidently measure the impact of lifecycle campaigns on key business metrics.

  • Analyze campaign performance share learnings and turn insights into actionable strategies that increase conversion to paid subscription and long term retention.

  • Leverage qualitative and quantitative insights to inform lifecycle campaign briefs including re-imagining our welcome series ongoing product education segmented nurture campaigns and renewal reminders.

  • Be a key partner in our communications strategy for new product and feature launches newsletter sends and community-building efforts.

  • Lead the redesign of our  email design and template system.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working in the B2C tech space with a deep understanding of subscription based services and subscriber retention.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on scrappy attitude.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Stays current on industry trends and best practices in lifecycle marketing.

  • Proven track record of driving customer engagement retention and revenue growth.

  • Extensive email marketing experience with the ability to learn new products or systems quickly (experience with Customer.io or Sendgrid is a plus).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends to improve performance.

  • Has empathy for the customer and cares deeply about delivering value with all communications.
