Airbnb is seeking a Strategic Communications & Content Development Intern to join the Trust Product & Strategic Partnerships team for our 2025 Summer Intern Program from May 19 2025 - August 8 2025 .

The Trust Product and Strategic Partnerships team partners closely with all facets of Airbnb – from Engineering to Design Product Marketing Communications and so on. As part of this the Trust team works on critical content to champion building and developing guest and host trust by reducing the risk of exposure to harm fraud and to limit safety incidents on the platform.

This is a small team with a blank-slate opportunity for creative minds—we’re looking for big weird ideas and the execution chops to see them through.

The difference you will make:

You will have a unique opportunity to leverage your creativity and fill a skill gap within our team around content creation upleveling the output of the Trust Product and Strategic Partnerships team. You will take the lead in creating dynamic informative and engaging content around our critical company-wide initiatives. This includes:

  • Collaborating with various teams within the Trust organization to gather information and insights.

  • Developing content that highlights the importance and impact of Trust initiatives on the company and its users ensuring the content aligns with the Trust organization's goals and values.

  • Developing presentations for the e-team and CEO.

  • Incorporating feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve presentations.

In addition you’ll focus on creative storytelling to enhance understanding and reach different audiences in innovative ways to shape the Trust narrative across the company. This includes:

  • Using storytelling techniques to make complex Trust-related topics more relatable and engaging for use at Trust All Hands Monthly Business Review Monthly Portfolio Reviews etc.

  • Developing content that resonates with various audience segments including employees partners and external stakeholders.

  • Experimenting with different formats and media to find the most effective ways to convey messages.

  • Incorporating current trends in media and content creation to ensure relevance and appeal.

  • Analyzing the performance of content to identify areas for improvement and innovation.

  • Developing regular updates and communications to keep the Trust team informed about key initiatives and progress.

Airbnb interns are integrated into teams where they are able to contribute to meaningful projects. You can expect to:

  • Collaborate with multiple team members to achieve project milestones

  • Communicate with stakeholders across different teams to provide project updates

  • Seek and provide feedback throughout the internship

  • Actively participate in and contribute to the Trust team and broader Airbnb community

Your expertise:

This opportunity is for first-year Master students (including MBA) graduating between December 2025 - June 2026 with the following skills and background:

  • Undergraduate major or graduate program in Communications Corporate or Strategic Communications Public Relations or similar field

  • Previous experience working in internal or corporate communications content writing and/or creating decks and briefs

  • Skilled at creating short-form media content in different formats including photo editing video editing and production

  • Strong sense of creativity and desire to innovate — able to devise fun and engaging methods for presenting information effectively with strong Google Slides/Keynote design skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively through both written and verbal formats up to the executive level

  • Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for detail

  • Proficient time management and organization with the ability to manage quick and unexpected deadlines

  • A sense of humor! And a passion for pop culture social media and trends

  • Passion for the Airbnb mission and product; experience with the platform is a plus!

  • Work authorization for employment in the United States is required (CPT/OPT is accepted) - visa sponsorship and relocation to the US is unavailable
