  • New supervisors are required to complete 80 hours of supervisory training of which 40 hours must be completed during your first year as a supervisor.
  • This positions is to be filled under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Inflation Reduction Act or Scientific, Technical, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) direct hire authority.
  • This position is not included in a Bargaining Agreement.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS GS-15: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes:

  • Managing, coordinating the restructuring of, and/or formulating plans of action for distressed and/or non-performing loans and assets, particularly in relation to large-scale energy-, infrastructure- or manufacturing-related projects. AND
  • Administering asset management activities for special assets and special situations, including reassessment of project/asset risk profiles AND
  • Engaging with project sponsors, borrowers, co-creditors, and/or legal, market, and financial experts in complex negotiations to manage project and portfolio risk

"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
