Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Golf Course on Patrick Space Force base. This position is a FLEX position with no guaranteed hours. Schedule and hours of work will be based on mission needs. This position has no benefits. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Must be able to life and carry objects weighing 50 pounds or more. Learn more about this agency Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and or carry objects weighing up to 80 pounds and complete a pre-employment physical. This is a drug testing designated position, subject to random drug testing. May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty to include nights, weekends and holidays. Qualifications Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Qualifying Experience: Experience which demonstrated the ability to operate, control and clean heavy powered equipment. Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions. Must be physically able to frequently lift and carry heavy objects weighing more than 50 pounds. Work that does not require the skill and knowledge in operating heavy equipment continually involves extreme physical effort, such as constantly lifting or carrying objects weighing 80 to 100 pounds or more with assistance. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
