Position Overview
Verra Mobility is searching for an FP&A Financial Systems Manager, for its Corporate Business Unit. This position is part of the Corporate FP&A team and is responsible for the configuration, administration, and optimization of the Oracle/NetSuite Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) application. The FP&A Financial Systems Manager will leverage their leadership, experience, and financial acumen to partner across the organization and leverage the Oracle/NetSuite PBCS application to drive efficiency in the planning cycles and ensure platform stability and accuracy. The ideal candidate will not only be able to take a strategic view of the PBCS application, but also be able to work with end-users at all levels within the organization to drive adoption and utilization.
Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead Administrator for Oracle/NetSuite PBCS application, providing thought leadership around strategy, and optimization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet evolving business unit needs, drive enhancements to improve planning efficiency and user experience, and streamline business processes.
- Manage forecast/planning versions and scenarios, maintaining GL configuration and all aspects of the dimension structure, roll-out additional functionality and enhancements, and serve as the primary point of contact for any application maintenance.
- Develop and update financial reporting and planning templates in collaboration with business unit finance leadership to support business unit requirements.
- Partner with IT to ensure users have correct level of access, support User Access Review (UAR), assist with resolution of Help Desk incidents, and confirm completeness and accuracy of data from source systems.
- Monitor integrations to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Prepare and update documentation related to SOX controls and supports all other SOX related activities.
- Responsible for training new users and providing technical support for existing users to better leverage features and functionality.
- Partner with external implementation partner for technical support as needed.
- Support Corporate Accounting and Investor Relations with 10-Q/10-K financial reporting.
- Perform financial variance analysis, build financial statements in Oracle/NetSuite and Smart View (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows), and calculate basic financial metrics and ratios.
- Ability to lead projects, influence others, and present analysis and recommendations to Executive Leadership.
- Support M&A and the integration of acquired targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in finance systems management.
- Proven experience administering Oracle/NetSuite Planning and Budgeting.
- Strong understanding of EPM concepts, modules, workflow, and security.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and solid ability with other Office applications (Word, Outlook).
- Individual must be able to take initiative, draw conclusions, and own outcomes.
- Sense of urgency with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to lead projects, challenge assumptions, and achieve positive results.
