Senior Business Analyst (Checkout and Payments)

We are seeking a proficient Senior Business Analyst for the Checkout and Payments sector.
The successful candidate will work closely with business counterparts, IT departments and software vendors. The role focuses on developing and delivering solutions that meet business requirements, primarily in the areas of physical store customer touchpoints and digital payments.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, define and document detailed requirements to enhance checkout and customer touchpoints
• Transform business needs into functional/technical requirement documents
• Assist in functional acceptance testing and facilitate release updates for applications tied to project implementations
• Engage in the design and execution of the Next Generation POS initiative implementation/configuration
• Coordinate with internal business and technical teams to finalize requirements
• Serve as the subject matter expert during and post project implementation, providing needed support and administration within functional responsibilities
• Deliver functional/technical support to ensure systems are operating effectively and efficiently
• Lead and organize training sessions to assist end-user change management in collaboration with Regional IT

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in retail or similar sectors
• Expertise in checkout systems and digital payment solutions
• Proficiency in documenting detailed requirements and preparing functional/technical documents
• Proven ability to support, test and deploy system updates and implementations
• Strong skills in coordinating and completing projects across various teams
• Proficiency in designing and executing configurations for retail and POS systems
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and user training
