Join a team of development program professionals to manage & lead Honeywell programs, specifically 777-9 Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), team management, customer interactions, negotiations and related Value Engineering projects. You will work under minimal supervision of the Customer Business Team leader, execute development programs of significant size & complexity to achieve scope, schedule, cost, delivery, and quality requirements while demonstrating mastery of program management skills, thorough understanding of multiple workstreams (of functions and Centers of Excellence), and extensive Boeing customer interaction. You will manage and lead complex, global development programs that may span several major domestic and worldwide locations, requiring coordination of technology development and production across locations. You will define, generate & implement program plans.
  • Tasks for this Program Manager include working with Boeing, Honeywell internal, and subcontractors to:
  • Implement key design changes and conduct affected qualification tests and analysis
  • Support Boeing flight testing
  • Complete "On-Time-Launch (OTL) production readiness phase exit and build production readiness at Honeywell's Mexicali site and major sub-tiers (work w/ AME for APQP, PRR, MRA, MSA & RTY closure)
  • Manage weekly team operating system (MOS) and present monthly internal program review (PMR)
  • Second source key components
  • Complete final qualification documentation
  • Complete Honeywell's internal IPDS PG5 Exit
  • Plan and execute retrofit program to the final standard before airplane entry-into-service
  • Plan and manage production (SIOP) to meet delivery dates (OTTR)

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 10+ years' experience and expertise within technical or business field
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business
  • Due to export control restrictions, must be a US Citizen
