Job Description Summary
HR Manager, People Partnering, Americas Markets provides strategic partnership and hands on support to core business groups to deliver people initiatives that drive business results. Additionally, this role will work with the HR Director on key HR initiatives and projects relative to integration, change management and implementation of HR best practices.

HR Manager (People Partner, Americas Markets)
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as coach and trusted partner for the Managing Principals in San Diego, Phoenix and Nevada (Las Vegas/Reno), influencing across multiple layers of the organization
- Identify opportunities to proactively engage with market leaders to advance strategic HR partnerships and positively impact business decisions/growth
- Drive business decisions through data, partnering closely with COE counterparts in the matrix
- Drive workforce planning through analytics and insights gained through market analysis
- Own and lead the people engagement strategy
- Collaborate to build internal talent capability, lead and facilitate talent processes and build robust succession plan
- Lead and drive change, working to develop an inclusive and respectful culture
- Partner with other national group leaders as required
- Navigate complex employee relations scenarios involving senior level fee-earning professionals in full compliance with C&W guidelines and policies
- Collaborate with people professionals from other service lines including asset and GOS to ensure alignment and cross-functional effectiveness
- Effectively partner with the COEs to bring best in class early in career programs including diversity programming, summer internships and events
- Provide sound recommendations for new approaches, policies and procedures to affect continual improvements in operational efficiency
- Work as part of a larger people partner team, actively engaging in regional, national and global projects that drive high performance culture and engagement
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Bachelor's degree with major concentration in business-related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of related experience
- Professional HR Certification desired
- Strong business acumen
- Exhibits excellent negotiating and influencing skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Savvy at building partnerships at all levels of the organization and must be viewed as a trusted advisor to the business. Possess a high EQ.
- Demonstrate confidence in coaching and influencing senior management
- Strong understanding of financial implications and risks associated with talent decisions.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, highly matrix environment
- Analytical with strong project management skills
- Must have high energy, excellent communication skills, be professional and polished
- Self-starter, able to work independently, takes ownership
